\n**Ewe** call the great god and great goddess Nana Buluku \u2014 the Supreme Being from whom proceed the great mother Mawu and the great father Lisa. The goddesses and gods are the Vodou. The ancestresses and ancestors are the Bogbo.

\n**Yoruba** call the great god and great goddess Olorun, the Supreme Being. The goddesses and gods are the Orisha. The ancestresses and ancestors are Egungun, or Egun.

\n**Igbo** call the great god Chukwu and the great goddess Komosu. The goddesses and gods are the Arusi. The ancestresses and ancestors are the Mwo.

\n**The ancient Kinesu** call the great god Amen and the great goddess Amenet. The goddesses and gods are the Ntoru. The ancestresses and ancestors are Shepsu, or Patu.

\nEvery one of these nations \u2014 as with all groups of Afurakani\/Afurai Kite-Nut \u2014 attunes itself to the mother, father, Supreme Being through the agency of the goddesses and gods and the ancestresses and ancestors.
